Dawn Yager is the Founder and Principal of Compensation Business Partners, LLC. Dawn has many years of experience in industry as a Compensation & Benefits executive, and over twenty years of progressive and diversified experience in compensation and incentive program design, implementation, and communication.  

 

Dawn excels at building strong partnerships with clients and client teams. The result is that the reward programs she designs accurately reflect the culture and the goals of the business. Dawn has extensive experience in executive compensation, Board Compensation Committee support, broad-based salary and incentive structure design, stock incentive program development, and compensation communication. She has the demonstrated ability to function equally well on a strategic or tactical level.

 

Most recently, Dawn Yager was the Senior Director of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS for Novavax, Inc.  Prior to that, Dawn spent twelve years

in compensation leadership roles with Human Genome Sciences and Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Dawn has worked as an independent compensation consultant at various points in her career, with a client list that includes Booz Allen & Hamilton, Common Securitization Solutions (a joint venture between Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), Accelovance, REGENXBIO, Teleglobe USA, Velocita, Telebanc (later became E*Trade), MCI Telecommunications, and several others. Earlier in her career, she was with MCI for nine years, taking on increasing responsibility in compensation leadership roles. Dawn holds a degree from Virginia Tech in Industrial Psychology.
